Paula's Herbs and
Plants is a family owned and
operated business specializing in
herbs. Our herbs are grown to be consumed as
well as to be beautiful---therefore, all edible herbs are free of pesticides, herbicides and insecticides.
Currently we grow around sixty varieties of herbs in the spring, offering
some of those year round. We grow six types of mint: Apple Mint, Chocolate Mint, Lemon Mint, Orange Mint, Peppermint, Pineapple Mint
and Spearmint. We have both upright rosemary and the prostrate form of rosemary, curly parsley,
and flat-leafed parsley, bronze fennel and green fennel, tarragon, dill, sage, chives and garlic chives, and around five types of thyme.

How to Build a Pot Tower I recently tried my hand at putting together a pot tower in my retail garden center and I will give you a step by step in this article.
The materials needed are one 8 to 10 inch clay pot, four 6 inch clay pots, potting soil and a metal rod about 4 feet long. I used a ¼ inch rod I had on hand and it was a little limber. I think the best thing would be to get one from a farm supply dealer, get one that is used as a post for electric fences.
As for plants, things such as sedums or other succulents which are drought tolerant are perfect for this. |

Here are
ten reasons for keeping a garden notebook or journal. Doing this will
make your gardening chores more organized and hopefully easier.
1. Keep
diagrams of your garden beds with notations showing where the plants
are located and the names of the plants. This way after some of the
plants lose their leaves you will still be able to locate them when
working in the garden. You can also mark locations where there is room
for more plants.
