Tahitian Bridal Veil is a type of wandering jew, native to tropical America. It is a herbaceous trailing plant with slender leaves about an inch long that are an olive green on top and burgundy shade underneath. When it blooms it has tiny white flowers. If your plant does not flower well give it a little more light.
This is a very good plant for hanging baskets with it's cascading foliage. It is fairly tolerant of indoor conditions and needs bright to filtered light, but no direct sun. It can also ground cover outdoors but will be killed back by the first frost.
This plant needs a general purpose potting soil that retains moisture but drains well, as it is sensitive to over watering. Allow the soil to become fairly dry between waterings and then drench the pot thoroughly.
This plant grows best at a temperature range from 50 to 85 degrees.
This plant is in a 2.5 inch pot.
Plants are shipped USPS Priority Mail. Continental United States only.
