Japanese Golden Sedum or Sedum “Ogon” is a low
growing perennial plant. The ¼ inch leaves are a golden color and may have a
blush of pink to them. This plant normally forms a low dense mat only 2 inches
tall, with a spread of 12 inches. In the summer it may produce greenish yellow
flowers.
This sedum grows well in any well drained soil.
Unlike most sedums, Japanese Golden Sedum needs some shade from the hot
afternoon sun. When watering this plant keep the soil moisture content medium
to dry. Once established it is very drought tolerant.
Japanese Golden Sedum will brighten up a rock garden, wall, container or
anywhere a ground cover is needed.
Japanese Golden Sedum is
hardy Zone 7 with some protection.
This plant is in a 2.5 inch pot.
Plants are shipped USPS Priority Mail. Continental United States only.
